The Easter Egg Hunt

Spring Break

Last weekend, Mark's parents were in town during Elwin's spring break. Elwin was here briefly in January, but I don't think we'd seen Diane since August. It was fun to have them stay at the house and help out with some of our small projects. Matthew loved having the extra attention. Then on Sunday, we had everyone up and Diane and Anna surprised me with a baby shower! In all, it was a nice relaxing weekend.

My newest nephew

Yay for babies! Jaclyn had her baby boy last week, and he is sooo cute. I just wish I could see him in person. Now I'm ready for my pregnancy to be over. Less than six weeks ... Mark had better hurry up with that thesis.

Ayden and Melissa

We were lucky enough to have my sister-in-law Melissa and nephew Ayden stay with us for the first two weeks of March. Melissa came out to look for an apartment for when Aaron gets back in April from his deployment. Now that they are older, the 3 month gap between Matthew and Ayden is much less significant than it was when they were infants. Matthew loved having Ayden here. They played pretty well together; though, of course, they each had their moments of territorialism. The interesting thing was that they each quickly learned how to say the other's name. All in all, it was a wonderful visit.
