I had my sister-in-law Jess come over and to take newborn pictures of Henry. We were snapping pictures of Henry when Hannah came over and wanted her picture taken, too. Then I bribed Matthew to come down, and we ended up with some adorable photos. I love having a photographer in the family. Are they so cute?

Henry Charlton Robison
Henry Charlton Robison was born on June 30th at 11:58 am in Salt Lake City. At 8 pounds 1 ounce and 20 inches long, he is my smallest baby. My due date was June 29th; I was hoping he would come much earlier, but he did not want to come out. I was originally scheduled to be induced on the 29th, but the hospital was too busy and they had to push me to the 30th. We arrived at the hospital in the morning and things went along very smoothly. Anna brought Matthew and Hannah to the hospital later that afternoon. They were a bit intimidated by me in my hospital gown, and were more interested in the brownies Anna brought than the baby.

Grandpa's new car
My Grandpa Pingel embarked on a new project recently, and I got to go over and photograph the start of his project for him. He bought a 1957 Triumph TR3 that he plans to restore. He had the same car when my dad was a little boy. The project's a bit crazy, but I think it's awesome. I've enjoyed seeing the progress in just the few weeks he's had it so far, and look forward to watching it come together over the next few years.

I think it might need some work.

Grandpa also repainted his truck. I think it looks great.
Kanab Photo shoot
While we were in Kanab, we did a photo shoot with the kids. It all started from Serene wanting Jess to take photos of Violet. Serene had a watermelon dress, and had bought a small watermelon specifically for the photo shoot. Unfortunately, the dress was way to big on Violet, so instead we put it on Hannah. First, Jess took tons of pictures of Violet (who really could be a model) and then we did Hannah. We tried to get Hannah and Violet together, but Hannah would have none of it - not counting the seesaw. We tried to do Katherine, but she was not in the mood for solo pictures. Lastly, we put all the kids in their bathing suits for a group photo - which ended up in tears for practically all involved. Oddly enough, Matthew was really good about sitting and smiling for the camera. I did bribe him with the promise of a treat, but I'm still rather impressed. I love have a photographer in the family. And I'm super grateful for Serene, who finally did something with Hannah's hair. I never do my own hair, so I had no idea what to do with Hannah's. But ever since Kanab, I've been experimenting with Hannah's hair and it does look really cute when it's up. I love having sisters-in-law.

We wanted to take a picture of the two of them,
but Hannah insisted on a solo photo shoot.

Serene brought the watermelon dress and watermelon
for Violet, but the dress was too big, so she had us
