For Easter Sunday, Benjamin wanted to have a family party, so I offered up my house. Since we had just arrived back from Bryce Canyon, Benjamin and Jess planned the whole event which was a huge success. We had a nice family dinner with our grandparents and Jess's sister Ginger, who are not pictured. The kids did an Easter egg hunt in the backyard. Hannah wasn't terribly interested in finding eggs, but Matthew and Ayden had a blast. Near the end, they were racing around and their buckets were so full they kept dropping some without realizing it. So Matthew would drop an egg, and Ayden would race and pick it up, in the process of which Ayden would spill some of his eggs. It was a never ending Easter egg hunt. To the boys, it seemed as if the eggs kept magically appearing. After dinner, we had a highly anticipated gender reveal for Benjamin and Jess's baby. They had frosted a cake, which once cut revealed a blue interior. Now the pattern is set at 3 boys, then 3 girls, and now another boy. Looks like we will need to be redoing our family picture again next Christmas to keep up with all these babies.
