On Wednesday, we visited Sea World. Matthew was basically obsessed with pushing Hannah in the stroller, so he mostly ignored most of the exhibits. But Mark and I enjoyed it. The walrus was huge, and very strange looking creature. The penguin exhibit had several dozen penguins of different varieties. Matthew really enjoyed the turtle tank, and I really liked the shark tank. After lunch, we decided to let Matthew play in the gigantic play area while Hannah ate, but he was too short to do even the slide. Luckily there was one trampoline - actually just a slightly bouncy tarp - that he and Hannah got to play on. And he got to go on the kiddie rides. He really enjoyed the flying fish one with Mark and the teacups with me. We ended the day with the dolphin show and the Shamu show - or as Matthew says "shampoo." We stayed well out of the splash zone. The dolphins were amazing. They can do such crazy flips. And the whales are equally amazing. It's hard to believe something that big can jump so high. All in all, Sea World was worth a visit, but wasn't nearly as cool as the zoo.
